Exolum acquires a minority stake in SeaSeaS Amsterdam CO2 terminal project

Exolum has completed the acquisition of a minority stake in SeaSeaS Amsterdam, a project developing a multimodal CO2 export terminal at the Port of Amsterdam. The transaction will help accelerate the development of infrastructure designed to connect industrial emitters in the Amsterdam region and other parts of the Netherlands and Germany with permanent geologicalstorage sites beneath the North Sea seabed.

Dutch Government support for SeaSeaS Amsterdam

SeaSeaS has been awarded a TSE (Topsector Energy) grant for its project to develop an open-access CO₂ terminal in the Port of Amsterdam. The TSE subsidy enables the project to be accelerated towards an investment decision, representing an important step from policy ambition to concrete realisation.
