Grant secured by SeaSeaS Amsterdam
STUDI will accelerate CO2 terminal development
An important milestone for SeaSeaS Amsterdam! We are proud to announce that our project has been awarded funding under the Dutch STUDI programme (Studies for Sustainable Industry), supporting the development of new CO2 infrastructure in the Port of Amsterdam. The STUDI programme supports feasibility and engineering studies that help industrial decarbonisation projects progress towards a final investment decision.
The funding will contribute to our upcoming Front End Engineering Design (FEED) study, bringing the project another step closer to realisation.
SeaSeaS Amsterdam aims to provide Dutch and Northwest European CO2 emitters with flexible, multimodal access to permanent offshore storage. We thank Exolum, as supporting minority shareholder in SeaSeaS Amsterdam, the RVO (Netherlands Enterprise Agency) and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate (EZK) for their support and this recognition of the project.
We look forward to starting the FEED study and continuing our work with customers and partners to bring SeaSeaS Amsterdam to life.
